Project Wildlife Announces Apprenticeship Program

Project Wildlife has instituted a pilot apprenticeship program for those volunteers interested in caring for animals in their homes. These volunteers are required to spend 20-30 hours at the Care Center to acquire basic wildlife rehabilitation skills.

While serving their apprenticeship, not only does the volunteer learn the basics, but works closely with the Care Center managers learning the specifics of care of the species the volunteer is considering rehabilitating.

To date, the response has been very positive not only from a volunteer standpoint, but the Care Center as well.
